The Village Green at Stowe is an award winning Townhouse Condominium resort, located in the heart of this 19th century village.

Nestled in the valley on 40 acres of beautiful land, the Village Green is surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and beautiful scenery.

Mount Mansfield (Vermont's tallest mountain) not only provides great skiing in the Winter, but also a never ending display of beauty from its early morning sunrise

Making Life Long Family Memories

"Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack, I don't care if I never get back. Let me root, root, root for the home team, If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, At the old ball game.

We were blessed to go on a week~end vacation taking our oldest grandson Deric, his girlfriend Emily and his brother Destin to a Seattle Mariner's/New York Yankee's baseball game.
Destin was given a baseball by J.J. Putz during batting practice which was very exciting for him and us. The Mariner's won 3-1.

Before the game we went to the Space Needle where we enjoyed going through all the shops and riding bumper cars.

The Seattle Space Needle was built for the 1962 World’s Fair and today is recognized as a true symbol of the city of Seattle. Built to withstand 200 mph winds and an earthquake of up to 9.5 magnitude, the 605-foot-high Space Needle offers amazing views. Ride the elevator to the 520-foot high observation deck for a 360-degree view of the city of Seattle skyline and the area’s spectacular natural landmarks like the Puget Sound, Elliot Bay, the Olympic Mountains, and Mount Rainier from its popular observation deck and Sky City restaurant.

Safeco Field has gained a reputation locally, regionally and nationally as a terrific setting for baseball and a great place for baseball fans. Sweeping views of Seattle's downtown skyline, combined with excellent views of game action from all angles give fans at Safeco Field an experience unequalled in Major League Baseball.

The ballpark's one-of-a-kind retractable roof is designed to cover but not enclose the ballpark, thus preserving an open-air environment. The structure covers nearly 9 acres and contains enough steel to build a skyscraper 55 stories tall. A push of a button closes or opens the roof in an average of 10-20 minutes (depending on wind and other weather conditions).

The next day we went to Pike Place Public Market.
Located on Seattle’s famous Waterfront Pike Place Market is one of the oldest public farmer’s markets in the country and is a popular visitor attraction. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Pike Place Market was opened in 1907 when Seattle residents, who were outraged at the high prices of produce, pressured city officials to establish a public market. With more than 10,000 shoppers arriving on the first day, the farmers sold out before noon and the Pike Place Market was born.
Today, Pike Place Market is home to nearly 200 businesses, 120 farmers and 190 craftspeople, attracting more than ten million visitors per year.

It is famous for its fresh-off-the-boat seafood and the personalities of the quirky fishmongers working in the fish stalls. The Pike Place Fish Market is a major tourist attraction, where visitors can watch the fishmongers toss huge salmon and other fish over the counter to one another to prep it for sale.

We have these moments to hold in our hands, and to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come, but we have this moment today.

What does your family do to build relationships, connect with each other and have fun?

In today's high~tension world, the family has become an endangered species, a group of people fragmented by the stress of meeting hectic schedules, making harried decisions and coping with ever~increasing financial demands. They live under the same roof, yet can't find time to build the strong ties that make real family.

You are looking at a family that God is restoring relationships in after three years of separation.

Never take for granted the special times that we have with our families, and friends. We are to enjoy the time that we have with each other showing our love and care for one another as God has intended from the beginning of Creation.

Be encouraged to slow down and enjoy each day to its fullest with those who mean so much to you. (Nehemiah 8:10)

Make vacation time an adventure for the whole family and each adventure your own.

Memory is what makes you wonder what you forgot to do.

Discover new places. Experience new adventures.
